True Confidant offers a private telephone service where clients have the opportunity to be heard, understood, and supported through meaningful conversation.
The Private Confidant Service provides a safe, respectful, and non-judgemental space for clients to reflect, share experiences, and explore life situations.
Building trust and rapport is at the heart of True Confidant. This develops over time through regular conversations and an ongoing professional relationship.
True Confidant is not a counselling, psychotherapy, medical, psychiatric, legal, financial, or crisis support service. Where appropriate, clients may be encouraged to seek specialist support.
All new clients begin with an initial commitment of four 50-minute telephone conversations.
After your third conversation, we will discuss how you are finding the service and how you would like to continue moving forward.
Advance payment by payment link, bank transfer or other agreed method is required to confirm your confidential call.
Fees may be reviewed from time to time. Any changes will be communicated to clients in advance of taking effect.
Conversations are conducted by telephone and last 50 minutes.
True Confidant will contact you at the agreed appointment time using the telephone number you have provided.
Please ensure you are available at the agreed time and have a private space where you can speak comfortably and without interruption.
If technical difficulties interrupt a conversation, True Confidant will make every reasonable effort to reconnect. If this is not possible, an alternative arrangement will be discussed.
If you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed without notice, will be charged at the full session fee.
Exceptional circumstances will be considered at the discretion of True Confidant.
True Confidant is committed to providing a respectful, supportive, and professional service.
Clients are expected to communicate respectfully and not engage in behaviour that is abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate.
For information about privacy, confidentiality, and safeguarding, please refer to the True Confidant Privacy Policy and Safeguarding Policy.
True Confidant values feedback and recognises that open communication is an important part of a positive client relationship.
If you have any concerns about your experience, please raise them directly with True Confidant so they can be discussed and addressed.
Any concerns will be handled respectfully and fairly, with the aim of finding a suitable resolution.
If, at any stage, True Confidant believes the Private Confidant Service is no longer the most appropriate support for your needs, this will be discussed with you openly and respectfully.
This may be because your needs would be better supported elsewhere or professional boundaries cannot be maintained.
Where possible, True Confidant may suggest alternative sources of support.
By booking a Conversation with True Confidant, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
